The Morrison House is a home for the primary care giver who must travel from outside Salina to be near a loved one who is a patient at the Salina Regional Health Center, the Salina Surgical Hospital or the Tammy Walker Cancer Center. The home can accommodate up to 36 guests. There is no charge for staying in this beautiful facility (donations are graciously accepted and very much appreciated), which offers two community kitchens, laundry facilities and internet service. Located just 2 blocks from the main hospital, the Morrison House is staffed 24 hours a day.

Salina Regional is part of a larger medical community in Salina that includes 22 medical clinics, 12 private practice offices, 20 chiropractic clinics and more than 150 doctors, surgeons, dentists and optometrists.

There are more than 125 physicians on staff at Salina Regional representing 30 specialties. Research conducted by the health center indicates a continuing need to recruit physicians to Salina to meet the growing needs of the service area.
