  • Located in Salina, Kansas Wesleyan University is a four-year institution of higher learning in the arts, sciences and professional studies. Kansas Wesleyan has been an influential part of higher education in north-central Kansas for more than a century. Founded in 1886 by the United Methodist Church, KWU welcomes students of all faiths. KWU's primary goal is providing students with an excellent education in a caring, Christian campus community. The university offers a range of academic degrees and athletic and arts opportunities.
  • Kansas State University at Salina is the home for KSU's College of Technology & Aviation, the newest and fastest-growing of all the colleges at Kansas State University. With an enrollment of about 1,000 undergraduate students, the College of Technology and Aviation offers two- and four-year programs in the fields of engineering technology and aviation (including professional pilot).
  • The Brown Mackie College-Salina offers student-centered education and career training designed with the practical student in mind. We focus on the development of technical proficiency in your field as well as the overall professional approach expected in business, industrial, or medical environments. Brown Mackie College-Salina is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II. Intercollegiate sports include men’s and women’s basketball, women’s fast-pitch softball, and men’s baseball.
  • Salina Academy of Hair Design is dedicated to the process of preparing our students for a career in cosmetology through the continuing effort of training each individual student in all areas of cosmetology using practical application and teaching methods. Upon graduation, our students will be able to pass the Kansas State Board of Cosmetology tests and secure a license for a rewarding career in cosmetology.
  • Bethany College (Lindsborg) offers students the opportunity to study and live on a campus located in one of the Midwest's most distinctive communities. Lindsborg is a friendly college town, and is unlike most other towns in that it has taken deliberate steps to retain and enhance a rich cultural tradition. It is known especially for its art and music, and also for the renewed emphasis on Lindsborg's Scandinavian heritage. This four-year, liberal arts school is affiliated with the Lutheran Church, and offers a broad range of academic studies, athletic and arts experiences.
