The Salina Surgical Hospital was built in partnership with local physicians in 1998. More than 4,000 surgeries are performed annually. The Surgical Hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services and is located directly across South Santa Fe Avenue from the main hospital. There are four surgical suites and two procedure rooms in the facility. The Surgical Hospital was expanded in 2006 to its current 16-bed capacity.
